The Suffolk Coast

Mollett’s Farm lies alongside the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where traditional East Anglian arable landscapes and forests border the shingle beaches, crumbling cliffs, open marshes and beautiful estuaries that have inspired artists for generations.

We are ideally suited to offer easy access to all of this, and the towns and villages that make Suffolk so special – such as Snape, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Woodbridge, Dunwich, Southwold and Orford – in fact, the very places that we’ve named our self-catering studios and cottages after! With arts and culture high on the Suffolk agenda, as well as local food and drink, we have something for everyone to enjoy.

The Suffolk Heritage Coast has long been recognised as the Sunshine Coast of the British Isles. Records show over the years that the region has the lowest rainfall and the highest hours of sunshine in the UK. That said, regardless of what the Great British weather has in store, there’s plenty to do in East Suffolk come rain or shine.

Suffolk also offers a wide range of activities all year round. We’ve some great ideas in our Blog about what to see and do whilst you’re visiting the area.
