Each of our three stable studios is named after one of our favourite places:
- ‘Dunwich’ – the ancient capital of East Anglia, now a sleepy seaside village, just 11 miles from our Farm.
- ‘Snape’ – named after the quintessentially Suffolk town, which is less than a 5-minute drive away and is home to Snape Maltings – a renowned centre of music, the arts and the world-famous Aldeburgh Music Festival.
- ‘Orford’ – An area of ‘outstanding natural beauty’ on the banks of the river Alde. A village with a rich history of food and agriculture and its own namesake polygonal castle – which is one of England’s most unusual and best-preserved keeps.
Of course, there is every opportunity to just take time to enjoy our beautiful luxury accommodation and recharge your batteries, each stable studio has its own south-west facing patio with table and chairs, plus a shared rose garden courtyard with plenty of communal seating – ideal for groups staying together.
Our little piece of Suffolk heaven is the perfect retreat in which to relax and slow the pace down, with ample space to prepare your own meals and quality Egyptian cotton linen to allow you to enjoy a restful night’s sleep.
The peace and tranquillity of Mollett’s Farm could fool anyone into thinking they were staying far from the beaten track but we are lucky to have a fantastic farm shop and café restaurant within walking distance, and in Saxmundham – just a 10 minute drive away – you will find all the modern conveniences you may need, including supermarkets and small-town amenities.
There are plenty of places for an adventure in Suffolk whatever your ability and many offer options such as scooter rental and hearing loops – speak to us when you book, and we’ll let you know about any upcoming events.
