For those with well behaved pets, we are happy for you to bring them along too.
Just stepping outside your door will connect you with our local network of public footpaths and there are many wonderful woodlands and bracing beaches within easy reach using the car. Suffolk also has a good number of dog-friendly pubs that we can recommend – providing excellent food and a warm welcome. We are sure you would both be disappointed if you didn’t take advantage of this!
Within our self-catering accommodation (three Stables Studios, three Granary Cottages and the Farmhouse Cottage), well behaved pets are welcome to join you for a charge of £25 each per stay (£30 from 2024). We do not charge for Guide Dogs to stay. If you’d like to bring more than two animals or something other than a dog (we’ve had a cat, rabbit and guinea pigs already!), then please give us a quick call to discuss your options.
We naturally hope that you’ll be respectful of our soft furnishings, your animal’s welfare and other guests, and are happy to have a chat about any other concerns or questions you may have. Pets may not be left unattended in our properties unless they are confined to a travel crate and then only for a maximum of three hours. We expect you’re bringing them here in order to spend time together, rather than apart, so hopefully this won’t be an issue. For clarity, our full Terms and Conditions set out our expectations and restrictions.
If you’re staying in one of our Stables Studios, we can temporarily enclose its rear patio to create a fenced-off area for your four-legged friend to relax. We have numerous pets ourselves, so can often lend feeding bowls, throws, dog towels and a travel crate if you need them. Just ask.
Our CAMC CL touring site is also dog-friendly and there are no additional charges.
