Pitch up, pop up and stroll around our mown meadow paths, before settling in for a spot of wildlife-watching or star-gazing.

Located in our eastern paddock (a haven for wildflowers and butterflies in season) and surrounded by arable farmland, our camp site offers six widely-spaced grass pitches for your tent, bivi or tepee.

Facilities include a portable toilet, water fill-up, recycling and rubbish disposal. Free-of-charge WiFi is available for those requiring wireless Internet access (via our new superfast broadband connection) and we can charge phones and other portable devices if needed.  The site is level and accessed via our large car-park, where we have electric vehicle charging (EV / BEV / PHEV / HEV).  Under-cover bicycle storage is also available on request.

There’s on-foot access to the nearby Friday Street farm shop and café restaurant (500m) as well as the local network of public footpaths (PRoW), connecting you with everything from ancient woodland to a shop selling camping accessories (Farnham Leisure).

Due to the nature of the setting, only a limited number of vehicles are permitted on the camp site (others can be left in our car-park) and we do not allow open fires, dogs or children under 12 years old – sorry!

There are plenty of things to explore locally.  Here are a few suggestions:

• Beaches and seaside towns of Aldeburgh, Thorpeness and Southwold
• Nature reserves – including those of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Woodland Trust and RSPB Minsmere
• Places of historical interest like Framlingham, Dunwich and Orfordness
• Cultural centres such as Snape Maltings (Aldeburgh Music)
• English Heritage and National Trust properties, for example Orford Castle and Sutton Hoo
• Festivals like Folk East (Glemham Hall) and Latitude (Henham Estate)
