The most pleasant surprise of your arrival at Mollett’s Farm is the silence. As you arrive at Mollett’s Farm the first thing you’ll notice is the peace and tranquillity our little piece of Suffolk holds.
As you turn off the A12 and approach the farmhouse, along the long driveway hedged with fields of wheat and onions swaying in the breeze, you will immediately feel the stress of daily life fade away. This is, in part, due to being surrounded by nature, though as you arrive and park up you will notice the feeling tranquillity extends to the core of our luxury accommodation. We pride ourselves on maintaining this feeling throughout your stay within our Granary Cottages, fully accessible Stable Studios or Certified Location Motorhome and Caravan Club.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by either Sasha or Richard and shown the way to your accommodation, where you can drop off your bags, before quick guided tour of the grounds including the opportunity to meet some of our animal friends.
Your luxury self-catered accommodation comes fully stocked with all the creature comforts you need to ensure your stay feels just like home, and the patio and courtyard areas are a fantastic place to soak up the sun or enjoy some breakfast before you head off exploring.
Each accommodation contains a comprehensive welcome pack jammed full of suggestions for fun local activities that you can enjoy on your trip to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. We aim to include information on vast number of activities that can be enjoyed by all our guests, but we always look forward to hearing about new and exciting activities that our guests enjoy, so make sure to let us know if you find any new adventures.
You’ve unpacked, you’ve made yourself at home, now it’s time to explore! Mollett’s Farm is perfectly situated within a short driving distance of some of Suffolk’s most famous and picturesque towns and villages. Aldeburgh, Snape, Woodbridge, Southwold and Framlingham are just a small example of what Suffolk has to offer, and, as with every destination on the beautiful Suffolk Coast, the journey is half the fun too.
But don’t think that you have to take a drive from Mollett’s Farm in order to enjoy your stay. The surrounding land is criss-crossed with footpaths and circular walks to suit all abilities, even the most experienced of ramblers, and the path through the ancient woods will make you feel like you have been whisked back in time to the days before technology.
After working up an appetite on one of the walks why not take a visit to the friendly and charming Friday Street Farm Café? Where all their ingredients are locally sourced, fresh and a fantastic show of the produce that local Suffolk farms have to offer. Don’t forget to nip in to their farm shop too where they stock products from over 100 local suppliers including a fine selection of wines, ciders and beers. Self-catering with local produce whilst sipping a glass of wine? Now that’s a match made in heaven.
Speaking of the heavens you simply cannot miss a Mollett’s Farm sunset. Want to know the best spot? Well, just meters from your accommodation is a beautiful petrified oak tree, you’ll spot it. We’ve even turned it into a seating area so that you can enjoy the complete bliss.
So, what are you waiting for? Come and stay with us at Mollett’s Farm and experience the best of what the Suffolk Coast has to offer.
